Categories & Filters

Your website automatically organises photos based on the metadata you add, but you can control which "Quick Filters" appear at the top of your gallery.

Configuring Filters

Go to Settings > Category Filters.

You will see a list of available categories (Nature, Astro, Landscape, Wildlife, etc.).

• Toggle ON: The category bubble will appear at the top of your site.
• Toggle OFF: The category is hidden from the menu (photos are still searchable).

Note: If a category is enabled but contains zero photos, the website is smart enough to hide it automatically so visitors don't see empty pages.

Default Sort Order

By default, you can choose how photos are ordered in Settings > Advanced:

• Best: Shows newest, highest rated photos first. You can rate photos in your photo editing software (such as lightroom) or on the metadata editor page.
• Newest: Shows the most recently uploaded photos first.
• Oldest: Shows chronological order.
